"Warrior Soul"
This is an original work I created recently to be cast in bronze. He is 24" tall and this is the original clay model sculpted in Chavant NSP Medium. I went with a "loose" surface on this piece to convey a sense of "raw" energy and grit. It was a bit of a departure for me as it was hard to walk away and keep it loose at times... Thank you for looking! Daily DeviationGiven 2009-08-02"Warrior Soul" by ~Hellspawn77 is a really detailed piece of work, the head and facial expression are very striking, the slightly distant gaze and the facial scars adding a slight sinister look to the piece. Though the rest of the sculpt is by no means lacking, both the texture work and the anatomy and body proportions are well researched and executed. (Featured by ^Thebuild) |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
